LYMEC

The European Liberal Youth (LYMEC ? Liberal and Radical Youth Movement of the European Community) is a European liberal youth movement. It is also the youth organization of the European Liberal Democrat and Reform Party (ELDR) and its group in the European Parliament (ALDE). 

LYMEC serves as an umbrella organization for liberal youth organizations throughout Europe. Currently, it has 59 member organizations in 37 countries, LUF is one of them. Additionally, individuals can also become members of LYMEC.

LYMEC aims to promote liberal values among young Europeans by educating its member organizations and individual members through seminars, publications, meetings etc. 

Recent campaigns include e.g. the ?No Visa ? Europe is our home? campaign that advocates visa-free travel for all European tourists and students, especially for people from non-Schengen/EU countries.

LYMEC also operates a network of liberal students, ELSN, of which the Swedish Liberala Studenter are member.
